Last year, the girls when the girls headed “back-to-school” it was actually Camille’s first time ever going to school, so not really “back” for her.
I have dreams of getting “so much done” now that school is back in session. Of course, I had dreams of getting “so much done” once school was out for the summer. Strange that I should feel a change in either direction is what will kick me into gear. But, so far, this one has helped. I’m not feeling like there’s too much to do. There’s lots of things I want to do, but there’s not too much that must get done yesterday.
I look back in this blog to see what I as thinking in August of last year as they headed off. And you know what I found? I wrote one single post in the whole month of August. That tells me that I was super busy tackling my huge list and had no time for contemplation. So I’m already leaps and bounds beyond that.
Not only do I have time for contemplating, planning, and writing here, I also have time to volunteer. And go to the movies. Even if I feel like I’m struggling a bit, I can look back and know that I’ve made great strides. And I’m proud of myself for having made such a change in my life.
