After getting to the island of Crete and then out to Knossos from Heraklion, we finally were ready to visit the Palace of Knossos! A true dream come true for me. I could hardly believe that we were actually there!!
Thankfully, we were not there in high tourist season and almost had the place to ourselves to explore as we wished and at our own pace. The weather was almost perfect, and we had a lovely morning.
