February break. I don’t have enough vacation days to take the week off and go somewhere far flung. But I also hate to see a break pass without an outing or special trip of some sort. Like last February, I decided to head to Edisto Island State Park. camping site practically on the beach, and dogs are allowed on the beach! The girls and I packed up Evie on Saturday morning and headed out, despite their having had three snow days that week. Yes, it was chilly weather for camping, but we were headed to the beach! While it was a bit chilly the first half of the trip, we snuggled in the car and kept warm, taking breaks to walk along the shore.
My one panic was when I couldn’t get the JetBoil to light!
