One of the (many) reasons that we decided for Camille to head off to school this year after years of homeschooling was to have a chance to participate in more extracurricular activities. Soon after the start of the school year, she joined the drama club and then the crew of the spring production, assisting with the costumes. At first, the demands on her time were not too much, but as it got closer and closer to opening night, she was staying afterschool more days and later and later. Last weekend, we finally had the chance to see what she and the rest of the cast and crew had been working so hard on!
By then, we knew all of the songs (Camille sings all the time) and the plot (we’ve seen the movie numerous times). But it was fun to see it performed by kids attending our local high school!
