While we were in Tybee Island back in September, we decided to spen a few hours exploring Fort Pulaski. Unfortunately, just as we got there, the skies turned dark and we were up against a thunderstorm. Due to the lightning, we couldn’t stay up on the ramparts, but e did enjoy exploring the various rooms in the fort as well as the “mounds” out front.
