While we were in San Francisco last month for spring break, we hit us the “Music Concourse” at Golden Gate Park. While my parents and Camille went to the de Young Art Museum, Chloe and I went to the California Academy of Sciences across the street. Chloe is a scientist. Chloe is a naturalist. She loved CAS, just loved it.
Chloe especially enjoyed the aquarium. As she’s done since she was tiny, she insisted on looking in every single tank and finding every animal. The rainforest was also a fascinating. And the earthquake exhibit was perfect as she was studying earthquakes back in school in Georgia. Lines for some of the interactive exhibits were sometimes long, but easily manageable.
And the cafeteria! So many wonderful and healthy food choices! I’d love it if every museum had good food like that…
We stayed until we were both exhausted and ready to ride MUNI home — bus stop right outside the door!
