I was up before 5am, taking care of a number of things including making coffee. I managed to get the girls up and ready for the day, then we walked down the street to the Coastal Trail. What a view — and what a hill to climb! At last, we made it up and over! At the Lands’ End Lookout, we met up with my friend Deb and together we wandered around the ruins of the Sutro Baths. On the walk back home, we ran into some other people we know, my parents!
In the early afternoon, we gathered foor at the Fresh and Easy down the street and relaxed a bit before trekking down to China Beach, walking by Robin Williams’s house. On the beach, Camille knit while Chloe dug in the sand and chased the waves. Chloe then spotted some dolphins swim past, so we stayed a bit longer to watch for them before we started the trek back up the hill. At Suze’s house, Barbara and the girls went to the store and playground, then the girls played on the XBox while I worked on the Rubik’s cube. We had a nice dinner and evening at home.
