This has been a week of ups and downs for Phelix. On Tuesday, Phelix apparently pooped in the lobby while Rob was looking the other way. After a reprimand from the condo manager, I was so embarrassed I could barely bring myself to showing my face downstairs again. But mistakes are made, right? So we just move on.
Overall, Phelix has stopped barking as much, though he still barks at Gazoo (who seems to be taunting him) and whenever he hears a doorbell, dog or knocking on tv. His leash walking has improved a bit, and tends to “go gremlin” much less often. He is starting to learn “leave it” and “drop it”, but still manages to get crud in his mouth far too often.
He still thinks keep away is a great game, which is very frustrating. until he learns to come when called, he really can’t have freedom to run around the condo, and I’m not likely to take him to an off-leash dog park.
