Slowly but surely, Phelix is learning. He still barks, but he’s barking less. He still pees in the house sometimes, but not quite as much. He did very well at his fourth doggie class, too.
This week, Phelix got to go on a long walk to our friends’ house where he played in the fenced in yard with their dogs for a long time. He also got to go on a nice hike at Arabia Mountain…. He loved playing in the little “pools” in the rocks.
We bought a no-pull collar, but I’m not sure how well it will work — he seems to really hate it.
Phelix still happily spends his night in his crate — he whimpers in the morning to let me know he needs to go out … except on weekdays, I’m usually up before him and dragging him out the door.
We’ve let him out of the pen a little more, but he still is a bit of a disaster when we do. He still wants to play with the cat even though she has old him over and over again that she doesn’t want to play.
