Mostly, this Christmas Day was another day for me. Not much celebrating or enjoying, but another day to clean and take care of everyone else…
Phelix and I got up around 7 and went for a leisurely stroll around downtown Decatur. When we returned, Chloe was awake and desperately trying to get Rob up. I managed to distract her for a while with the morning chores. Finally, we all sat down to open the gifts piled beneath the tree.
Both girls were quite pleased with their “big” gifts and all the other lovely things they unwrapped. Phelix was pleased with the wrapping itself.
After we cleaned up and took the dog for a nice stroll around town and made paninis on the new griddle, Rob and Chloe packed their bags and headed to the airport. Camille and I tried to go to see Les Miserables, but by the time we got there, it was sold out. Instead, we watched the Doctor Who marathon.
