What do you like to do? What scares you? What is a good routine?
Phelix the toddler puppy is adjusting to life here. He’s figured out how to ride the elevator and always gives himself a little kiss in the mirror when the doors slide shut. He’s mostly staying away from the Christmas tree. He and Gazoo are starting to get to know each other. He’s not barking at her as much and she’s not as quick to run and hide, as long as he’s on the leash.
I’ve learned that he hasn’t figured out pooping is to be done only outside (ick) and that he’s terrified of the vacuum. He also loves chasing the broom as I try (unsuccessfully) to sweep.
If we take him out to run around, he’s content to rest on the couch or in his crate so I can get a little bit of work done. He loves to steal clothes and shoes as people are getting dressed.
And tonight we learned that he can catch squirrels. And tire out Chloe.
Oh the cuteness! And yes, a tired dog is a good dog…
