I’m a little disappointed in myself as I look back on my photos from the past year. While I’ve taken a photo a day as I had challenged myself (I think I missed one day so far), I’ve come to rely on my iPhone and instagram far too much. I’ve allowed myself to become very lazy thanks to the ease of instagram.
I love taking photos. I am very much stuck in a rut and have not gained any new insight or skills. And that’s disappointing.
Next year’s photo goal will be to take a photo-s-day with my camera and to improve my photography skills. I’ve wanted to take a photography class for probably a decade or more now. Maybe 2013 will be the year that I manage to find a class that fits my needs and schedule.
