Such a stressful one for me. I love the decorations, the special food, the lights… But I stress. So terribly that I lose sight of what it means to me and my family.
This year, I’ve decided that there will be no “annual update” from us. Despite all the snark and ugliness, I *LIKE* getting annual update (bragging or not). I truly do love reading the letters. And this has made me want to reciprocate every year that I’ve been married. Up until now. This year? I’m giving myself a break. Heck, this blog is an update, if any one is truly interested.
We’ll send out personalized cards of some sort… with a link to our family website for those who are interested.
And maybe next year I’ll decide once again to send out a “letter” instead of a card. But this year, a family photo card it will be. (Even though I’ve already bought holiday cards — the cards will last until next year, I’m sure.)
