Somehow, I thought I was going to get “so much done” on my projects over the week, and I got almost nothing done. I didn’t read as much as I wanted to. I didn’t relax as much as I wanted to. I didn’t go to as many historical sites as I wanted to.
Did I have expectations that were too high? Or did I just waste my time? A combination of the two, I suspect. I’m going to try to have lower expectations on my next break from work. And also push myself just a little harder towards doing the things I want to do…. But for now, back to the grind.
