The summer went by far, far too fast. I can’t believe that it is time to turn Chloe back over to the system. Last year was pretty awful, and I just hope that all will go well for Chloe this year. At last night’s “meet and greet” she was so excited to be back at her school despite all of last year’s drama that I’m hoping that all will go well.
This morning, she happily got up at 5:55 in order to get dressed, pack her lunch and have breakfast before we headed out the door at 6:25 to walk the 1/3 of a mile to her bus stop. With the new consolidated bus stops, there are now a whole lot of kids waiting for the bus with her, which will be a good thing, I hope.
Chloe worked hard on coming up with lunch ideas. Today, in her little bento box, she’s got homemade pizza “lunchables” and some fruit. I can’t believe I didn’t get a picture. Next time.
