Towards the top of our “things to do” list for our long weekend in New York was visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Alas, the thing I wanted to see most, I couldn’t. The rooftop gallery was still closed for winter, despite it being the end of April. So, so disappointing. But Camille and I wandered for hours through room after room of the amazing collection. We just couldn’t believe that there was more. We could have spend two or more days there, had we had the time.
