As I wrote previously, we were gone for almost all of April (Gulf Coast Spring Break, Bahamas Wedding and NYC for Kindiefest) and, for once, have no big trip planned for this summer.

So I figured I could make lemons out of lemonade and spend “…some slow weeks at home to get organized. And simply think. And get back on track with exercising regularly.”

scaffold - 20 may 2012

Even yesterday, Saturday, the workers were out there from 9-6 banging, sawing, and wrecking. The noise makes it impossible to relax. I can’t open my blinds because there are men walking around right outside my windows. The dust generated is making me sneeze and is likely the cause of the sinus headache I’ve had all day.

And once they’re done with the adjoining wall, all that scaffolding and tarps and men will be working on our exterior wall.

And poor Gazoo is also sad to not be able to go outside on her balcony …
