Today, despite my still feeling under the weather and our plan to get packed up for a trip (we have TAHT down to a science), the girls and I ran out to Michaels and Target…. Not because we needed anything (though we did get things for our trip), but because, against my will, I got sucked in last week by the craziness that is Pinterest.
While I know I can’t come close to creating the amazing things that I find, I’m finding inspiration to try a few things here and there. Today, we had mixed results.
The peanut butter heart cookies — the hearts melted 🙁
The crayon hearts — look neat, but the back side had a clear wax film that I had to scarpe off:

We did a few more crafts, but those are surprises … sty tuned…. Chloe said this was the “Best Valentine’s Day Ever” …
Love the wax paper hearts. So far I find Pinterest inspiring, not time-sucking or a waste. And sign me up for the Gwyneth fan club, I love your pins! Are you sure we’re not long lost sisters?
