photo friday: fdr state park
I can just hear the comedy sketch that must take place every time someone decided to make this parking lot at F.D. Roosevelt State Park as a meeting point.
A couple weeks ago, we packed up Evie, our VW PopTop, and headed south of Atlanta to F.D. Roosevelt State Park for a weekend of sub-freezing camping. We enjoyed getting back into the swing of camping from Evie after having not donw it since before we moved this past fall.
We made meals on the campstove, had a campfire, rode bikes in the campground and did our best to keep as warm as possible. While we didn’t have a chance to explore the park much, we did explore Callaway Gardens, visit FDR’s Little White House and drive on the parkway along the ridge.
I hope that we’ll return when the weather is a little warmer, and we’ll get to explore more of the park.
This is an entry for Delicious Babyโs Photo Friday
