A couple weeks ago we haphazardly packed the car with camping equipment — as we are in the middle of a move, our stuff was spread out amongst our two homes. We somehow managed to bring what we needed to stay (sort of) warm at night as the temperatures dipped below freezing.
This was our fifth trip to LEAF — and as we’ve learned, LEAF means something different to everyone who goes. I like just “being” — listening to the happy people all around. Chloe likes to hang out with her friends and participate in the adrenaline activities – rock climbing, bungee bouncing, ziplining, kayaking. Camille likes to sell her knitted goods and check out the artist booths.
We had a lovely weekend, taking a break from the craziness that is our downsizing move.
