Three weeks ago, we didn’t go out of town. But we traveled … to the alternate universe that is Dragon*Con. If you ever find yourself in Atlanta on Labor Day weekend, do not be surprised if you see stormtroopers, wizards and superheroes on the train. We headed downtown for the Saturday morning parade; the streets were crowded with people all having a fantastic time. THe parade is free; the convention itself is fairly expensive, but my husband and kids love to go and have a wonderful time. As Doctor Who fans, it was amazing for them to get to meet one of the Doctors. And also to meet the creator of an online game that they love. And to hang out with others who love these sorts of things too….
