Last week, we drove to Texas for our annual pilgrimage to the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
Camille’s first request upon arriving at my parents’ house in the Austin suburbs? Going to eat at Chuy’s. If you’ve never been to Chuy’s, you must get yourself to one. They used to only be in Texas, but appear to be expanding and will soon have a location in Atlanta… Maybe I won’t tell the girls so that Chuy’s can remain a special treat when we visit Texas … !
As vegetarians, there aren’t lots of options for us on the Tex-Mex menu, but with a trip there once a year, we are generally content with the offerings. The salsa are fresh and tasty. But for me, I love the ambience and eclectic decorations.
