I’m starting to panic about our forthcoming trip. Granted, it is not a “sell the house, travel the world trip”, but the idea of trying to fit everything into Evie that we might need on our five week trip through the west is still stressing me out.
Today’s preparations included:
- Organized an “Out West” playlist based on suggestions gathered via my blog and facebook. Copied this playlist three times (Dear Apple, there has to be a better way to manage multiple devices and multiple users sharing devices.)
- Filled up the Kindle and iPad with books (free books, for the most part).
- Gathered together electronics, batteries and chargers. Backed up iPhone, but only after downloading/installing updates (sigh).
- Gathered our travel books and maps into a pile.
- Built a postcard list and emailed for the one address I don’t have — want a postcard from our trip? Let me know and we’ll add you!
- Meet with the person who will be housesitting for us while we are gone. Will Gazoo ignore her or wake her up at 6am every day??
