The day is almost here! I’m getting excited; I still have a lot to get done, but it is getting there. We’ll be ready to go early on Sunday!
Today’s preparations included:
- Cleaning up the house. Included cleaning out the fridge, the turtle’s cage, the girls’ rooms, and oh so much more (3+ hours worth!). I just can’t leave a messy house behind when I head out on a trip.
- Haircuts. Rob did the prudent thing and went for a haircut. I had Chloe (age 8) cut mine. So much for me being in any of the photos from our trip.
- Rob tested out a shelter; I think we’ll bring it.
