Last Sunday, after the girls found all of their eggs, we headed down to the Georgia Renaissance Festival. Depsite being overwhelmed with I wanted to get done, I knew the girls really wanted to go, and this was the weekend for it. As we head towards summer, it gets hotter and hotter. We only have one more weekend at home after this one. Plus, I had hoped it wouldn’t be too crowded, this being Easter in Georgia…

I was surprised by how many cars were in the lot when we arrived! But, overall, it didn’t feel too crowded, other than the crazy, overcrowded Easter Hunt, which had far too many kids pushing and scrambling for candy. At least the girls now understand why I like our Pine Lake hunt so much, after having had a taste of hoe insane other hunts can be.

The girls went on some rides, we all watched some shows (Chloe loved the acrobatics) and Camille watched some people spinning. The glass blowing demonstration was interesting. The food was horrible as always. Water was so expensive. I saw a number of people with their water bottles from home; next year we will be brining in our own water! The girls always enjoy the shops; Chloe really loved the games store and all the chess sets!
