Last weekend, Chloe and I flew to Austin to celebrate my mom’s birthday. While there, we visited the J. Lorraine Ghost Town and also went to the Austin American-Statesman Capital 10K.
While the rest of the family participated in the race, Chloe and I took our time getting from starting line to finish line and managed to just beat the lead runners to the end. Chloe loved watching the runners come in, especially those who had dressed in costume for the race.

Austin is a place I haven’t been and would love to visit. I need to convince my husband to make the trip!
