We’ve been tuned to the tv two nights in a row now for the big Jeopardy showdown between IBM’s Watson and the top two Jeopardy winners… It has been fun to watch, including the behind-the-scenes information!
The show was taped at Thomas J Watson Research Center in Yourktown Heights, NY, which is where my parents met and where my dad worked growing up. I loved that building and still have ond memories of being there for various activities.
And now, as an IBMer myself, how can I but root for Watson?? But Toronto? Really? On the Smarter Planet Blog, there is a post trying to explain Watson’s big mistake: Watson on Jeopardy! Day Two: The Confusion Over an Airport Clue.
