Photo Friday: San Antonio
Not only am I a day behind on my Photo Friday, I’m behind on everything right now. So it seems only fitting that this Photo Friday post be comprised of photos from our trip to San Antonio two weeks ago. As always, a few good days in one place and I’ll get caught back up again. Since we are now at the cabin until after Thanksgiving, I’m hopeful that I’ll soon knock my to do list back down to a manageable size.
Tw weeks ago, we spent a couple days in San Antonio. The first day we spent exploring the Museum Reach section of the Riverwalk. We had promised the girls a boat ride on the second day, so after breakfast we made our way over to the Rivercenter Mall from where the Rio San Antonio river tours depart. The tour guide was entertaining and got our day off to a great start!
Once the tour was over, we started our walk over to Market Square, stopping first at La Vilita to explore the artist shops for a few minutes.
Our walk from the Riverwalk over to Market Square was full of pleasant surprises, such as the Spanish Governor’s Palace and the beautiful San Fernando Cathedral.
Market Square seemed to be going under a substantial construction project, which took away from the appeal. I hope we can return when the construction is complete and also visit the new Museo Alameda there.
On our way back to the hotel to pick up our bags, we stopped at Alamo for a quick visit. Can’t wait to get back again to visit again!
This is an entry for Delicious Baby’s Photo Friday.

Love the photos! It’s always nice to see the places you visit frequently through someone else’s eyes (or lens, I guess).
