Less than TWO weeks ago, I was begging for cooler days. And now, those cooler days have arrived. But, wait! These aren’t cooler days. These are frightfully cold and crisp days. So cold that we can’t open the windows at night. In the short space of about ten days, we’ve gone from not being able to open the windows at night because of the heat to not being able to open the windows at night because of the cold! Why so extreme? What happened to the weeks of in-between where the windows can be left open??
