Labor Day weekend, I took my first non-work, kid-free trip (other than an overnight getaway here and there) in over a decade. While it was easier to not have to be in charge and not have to make sure we had all the necessary supplies, I did miss sharing the trip with the girls.

I just finished reading a book about the Golden Gate bridge, so I really enjoyed the first photo and the flash of recognition I felt as it appeared on my screen. I’ve got a real thing for bridges, and the story of the Golden Gate was pretty fascinating to me.
