Tired of the summer Atlanta heat, last Friday I decided that it was time to head to the beach for the weekend. While I have certain preconceived notions of the Florida panhandle, I decided that the gulf would be preferable to the Atlantic. I found a good rate at the Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach, which turned out to be a nice choice. The room had a great view and a full sized fridge, the pool was refreshing, and the hotel very kid-friendly. The gulf was absolutely beautiful and warm and such fun for the kids. Unfortunately, my hard drive crashed and I lost most of my photos from the weekend….

This is an entry for Delicious Baby’s Photo Friday.

Sorry about the hard drive….that would be a nightmare for me, but glad to see this post about your weekend escape to the Gulf. No matter how much we travel and no matter how many beaches we get to experience, the Gulf (especially the Florida panhandle) is still my favorite…I think it is just hardwired and a part of my roots. Glad you had a good weekend and glad the oil spill didn’t ruin it.
