Randy might love LA, but we love XM, Kids Place Live in particular. We find the hosts to be amazing folks, who love what they do and love the kids they “meet”. While Mindy is Chloe’s BFF+.5, Chloe has had a crush on Robbie Schaefer for a long time.
Robbie’s a funny, sweet, talented guy who not only hosts on Kids Place Live but writes and performs “family music” as well. Last month we were thrilled to see Robbie at a show at Eddie’s Attic.
As always, Robbie put on a great show for the packed house. He treated us to some of the old favorites as well as a couple new songs. We love “Fits Right In”, and we were thrilled that Robbie played it. We can’t wait for his forthcoming CD to be released! Robbie also played another song about young love; the whole audience laughed and loved it!
Both Camille and Robbie were wearing Brooklyn t-shirts which was a little ironic since the last time we had seen Robbie (back in May) was in, of all places, Brooklyn!
Later that evening, I went with friends and without kids (though I realized later that they could have come along, and Camille would probably have loved it) to see Eddie from Ohio.
