Thursday evening I continued with my mission to get out of the house instead of sitting home doing mind-numbing tasks. We managed to get out of the house with the recycling and the library books to return, but Chloe neglected to bring shoes! While Camille searched for books and knitting patterns, Rob ran Chloe home to get her shoes.

Thursday evenings at the Decatur Library features the “Musical Booking” series. This week’s music was provided by The KJ Project, an acoustic violin-guitar duo. Chloe was her fidgety self, sitting on Rob, sitting on me, sitting in her chair playing with her cat. “I’m cold, I’m hungry.” Camille was a little better, but not much. I found the music to be quite enjoyable. Mixtures of flamenco, classical and other styles.

After the concert, we filled our growling stomachs at Farm Burger — veggie burgers from quinoa instead of portabella mushrooms, plus onion rings and garlic-parmesan fries. Yum.
