As I mentioned in Food for (Good) Thoughts, our first step in eating better was to get the cabinets and fridge empty. The objective was to eat or get rid of just about everything. I told the girls that they could eat what they wanted, they just had to eat what was on hand. Okay, maybe eating all the crap wasn’t the best way to get started eating better, but the girls did have lots of fun!

The girls made all sorts of creations, trying to put whatever they could into ice cream cones. Peanut butter, baby corn and rice noodles, couscous (that didn’t work well).

As we emptied the cabinets out, I found all the food that I didn’t know we even had. The potatoes were alive.
