We sped our way up I-95 and then across on the ever so fun 123 from Lorton to Vienna to get to Jammin’ Java for tonight’s Rocknoceros Happy Hour! Chloe took a bit of a nap in the car and was slow to wake, but when PINK! started, she was full of bounce. Though even Chloe was older than 90% of the non-adult audience, she still loves Rocknoceros. She loved just about every song they played tonight and had a great time! The crowd at Jammin’ Java was quite lively, and everyone had a wonderful time at the show. The band played a number of fun covers as well as some new songs. They played the new Texas one tonight (available on iTunes and CDBaby, I believe) as well as a forthcoming single, which I think is called “Colonel the Purple Turtle.” After the full hour long set, Chloe gave Benny a pinkish potholder that she wove on her loom.
