it’s been a true vacation. no working. no rushing off to tours. no cooking. no cleaning. just sitting by the pool, letting the lifeguard panic and the pool boy bring the food and drinks. (though i admit i have kept up with email, facebook, photos and even the gbk radio blog….and even got my phone to work on hotel wi-fi pool and beachside, just because.)
three days is enough, though. i’ve had enough of not doing anything. boredom began to set in this afternoon. i’m looking forward to getting home and back into a routine. i sure wish i could bring the sun, the surf and the pool boy with me, however.
the girls are content. chloe has spent every waking moment in the pool or ocean. camille has split her time between swimming and reading about Turkey. i’m counting on her to be an expert on Turkey by the time we head there in June.
the one thing i could have done without? “Zack y Cody: Geremlos en Accion”. The girls have been watching various Disney and Nick (including iCarly) dubbed in Spanish. Can i hope that this has improved their Spanish? Wishful thinking, i’m sure.
