back in september, camille decided that what she really wanted for her birthday was a trip to MagiQuest. we had visited it on our last trip to Myrtle Beach, and it seemed to be exactly the kind of thing Camille would love to do. to increase the fun, we decided to invite two of her friends along to participate. then Claire’s mom and sister decided to come. then barbara decided to come — and we ended up as a group of 8 on a destination birthday party adventure!
with hotel rooms right across the hall form one another, the kids were back and forth, choosing from four different tvs. the girls went swimming in the indoor pool, beachcombing. we got room service, ate at the buffet breakfast and went to the happy hour. we watched the sunrise and listened to the surf. and, of course, we went to MagiQuest, twice.
overall, the girls had a blast, completing quests and dueling. and the grownups enjoyed watching them and the other kids there having so much fun.
