yet again today we headed to YAKMC (yet another kids music concert).
A shorter drive than most of our concert trips — this one was only 
about 20-25 minutes away in midtown. We worked our way through the traffic to the Park Tavern by Piedmont park for Grand Day Out. On the bill were The Baby Grands and Secret Agent 23 Skidoo.
Not only were there two awesome bands for us to enjoy, but there were lots of fun and games going on around the big tent. We ran into friends from our hamlet, friends from Rob’s work and music friends (besides the two bands, we got to chat with The Lovely Mrs Davis and Kitty Wolf).
Chloe stood in line a long time to get a balloon animal. As usual, it did not last until the end of the concert. Chloe blames old balloons. She also managed to spill the ginger ale that I bought myself after I had about two sips. Oh well. On a happier (for her) note, she lost a tooth while we were there. Too bad the tooth fairy — a big Skidoo fan — is in Poland.
All in all, we had a wonderful time on this beautiful fall day.
