As I’m sure she’d say, one of the reasons my mom likes to geocache is that is gets her to places she would not normally go. By heading off the beaten path to look for the caches, we end up in places we never would 
have thought to go.
Today, we headed out to a store (closed on Sunday), but the trip over to Blairsville was not a total loss as we continued on to a geocache. The geocache coordinates led us straight to Pappy’s Trading Post! We wandered around this complex of faux general stores, looking at lots of country kitsch and other stuff that was more to our liking. Rob bought some deep fried peanuts (YUCK!).
But mostly it was fun just to wander around and check out the sights:
