as most people know, Thanksgiving is not high on my list of holidays. I don’t like the production of cooking a big meal (especially not the turkey). I’d gladly give up the meal and the football. My favorite part of the meal is having apple pie for breakfast the next morning.
fortunately, the day was sunny and bright and not too chilly, so we were able to go out for a nice walk. Heading down the hill, we had slow going due to the slow poke Duncan who had to sniff every single blade of grass on the way down. At the bottom, we met the others who had driven down, including Suze who is on crutches.
It was wonderful to be out of the house, in the sunshine and away from the tv. My back still hurts a bit while walking, but I pushed myself to do the walk up and back, prolonging the amount of time spent outdoors.
