That was a long break away from this blog!! In the meantime, we have posted Episode #6 of gbkZoo, interviewed Princess Katie and Racer Steve for our “Giving Back Kids: KindieCares” segment on our radio blog Gooney Bird Kids, and cleaned/rearranged many rooms in the house.
Now we are settling into a homeschooling routine again. It is nice to have long days with nothing on the schedule; what a change from last year!
Chloe is having a bit of a difficult time adjusting to more formal schooling. Some days she gets right to work. Some days she fights against even the easiest assignments. I hope that we get more of the first type of days as the time goes by.
Having been home for a contiguous three weeks now, I decided it was rime for a trip. The girls and I will head to Myrtle Beach while Rob goes to Minneapolis.
I think ya'll have some serious wanderlust going on. But it will be quite the change from last year and all your traveling.
We are in our third week of homeschooling. But we are going to Disney at the end of September. And then Michael and I – sans children – are going to Las Vegas in October…
Oh, it is already different! I can't remember the last time we were home for over a week (except in June except when I had the flu back in June).
Camille is still wrapping up a few things for last year, but has really gotten a strong start on this year already.
