I woke early, then went back to sleep and got up later than I had wanted. We packed fast and left the hotel. We stopped in town to have breakfast, then drove 
south through Grenoble and then back west again. We stopped in Orange to see the Roman Theater. Chloe ran up and down the steps. After we left the theater, we were all tired and hungry and couldnÕt figure out where to eat. We found our way back to the car and drove to Pont du Gard, where we had a late lunch in the cafe there. From there, Barbara called a few hotels nearby and found us two rooms for the night.
The bridge was awesome. We walked across, and the girls went down to the little beach to put their feet in the water while I walked the other way to catch the good light. We drove to the hotel, got our keys, unloaded our luggage and got ready to go to the pool! 
The kids got right in and swam. Barbara came down and we ordered some wine, then the girls were cold and hungry, so we ordered hot chocolate, French fries and more wine! We went to our rooms and reorganized and tried to go to bed early.
