After we had so much fun in Myrtle Beach earlier this month, we were ready to return to the beach! Since my husband Rob is living in Washington, DC, this year, we decided to take advantage of his location and explore a Maryland beach, Ocean City! The girls have never really been to a boardwalk beach, except for a grey Sunday morning in Coney Island, so we were looking forward to this new experience.
We had PERFECT weather, except for the blinding rain and fog on the drive out to the shore. The kids had a wonderful time doing the boardwalk thing – candy, fries, popcorn, arcades, tacky souvenir shops, amusement park rides and all the rest. Camille rode the waves for HOURS. Chloe loved the pool, the sand, and the playgrounds on the beach. I enjoyed some quiet time, but not the sunburn I ended up with.
