On Tuesday, after we dropped Jim and Marty off at the airport, Barbara, the girls and I headed off to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. While the wildflowers weren’t as numerous as I remembered in the past, it was such a nice place to be! We wandered around the gardens, then the woods and finally the open fields. The girls mostly enjoyed it; Chloe sans stroller started to complain about walking.
I liked the last ten minutes when I got to sit still while Barbara and the girls went into the gift shop. It was so pleasant to sit still and listen to the water gurgle. I need more of that time to sit still and not be working or catching up on various things.
