yesterday, we were so excited to get to see Robbie Schaefer put n a kids’ concert in Decatur! He’s one of the Kids Place Live (XM?Sirius 116) DJs that we love listening to. Instead of being ten hours away, he was only ten minutes away, performing some of his kids’ music live on stage. It was wonderful to see him again and we all had a blast. We hope he’ll return to Atlanta again soon.
I can’t remember when we first met him. Perhaps it was at The Hipwaders’ Rumpus Room show at XM in DC back in 2007. We’ve seen him a handful of time since then, and as always, he was just the niceset, sweetest guy. If he ever comes to perform in your town, go see him. You’ll be happy you did. Hey, if he even comes close, make the drive, like the family from Birmingham did yesterday!
