After my computer died Monday morning, we headed out down the coast to visit Pawley’s Island. At Pawley’s Island, we found the parking lot and headed out to the beach. We made sandwiches, complete with real sand. Chloe huddled under a beach towel to stay warm while Camille played. Chloe decided that it really wasn’t so cold out and played too.
From there we drove a little ways up the coast and went to Huntington Beach State Park. We went on a long nature walk that ended at the beach. The girls both really seemed to enjoy the walk through various areas. At the beach, the girls played for a while. Camille ended up getting her sneakers wet and had to walk back to the car with a wet foot.
We also went to Myrtle Beach State park, but we were too freezing to really enjoy it. We drove back to the hotel sticking as close to the beach as we could. I think I like our hotel better than Myrtle Beach proper.
