Oh how we love to go places. And oh how I hate to come home. Not that I don’t love home. I do love being home. But those first few days when I get back from a trip are overwhelming. Not only do I have to unpack and get everything put away from the trip, but I have to take care of all those things around the house that didn’t get done while I was away. Mail, laundry, yardwork, grocery shopping, etc. Sometimes it can be just too much, especially when I know it all has to get done before the next trip!
I don’t for a minute think I am alone in this. There’s nothing unique about our situation. It’s hard to find balance, routine, when there’s always upheaval!
