As you may or may not know, along with having our own kids’ music station/blog, Gooney Bird Kids, we also run the Kids Place Live Fans blog. (KPL is the kids’ station on XM/Sirius Satellite Radio.) We’ve been fortunate enough to get to attend four different concerts in their Rumpus Room; the latest one being a Ralph’s World Concert, where we even got a great tour of XM.
Since XM is in DC and we are in DC so often this year, we’ve been trying to get together with Chloe’s BFF, Mindy. And, finally, we did get to meet with her today! We had a nice lunch in the atrium of Union Station. All three of us were bursting with things to tell her, even though we talk to her almost every day on the radio! It was so much fun to hang out with her; very worth the chilly walk to the metro station.
After lunch, we accompanied her back to work. As we walked away, who came up behind us but Kenny, one of the other KPL DJs that we love to listen to!
We can’t wait to get to see them again.
