Yesterday evening, Chloe started banging on the piano, so Phil showed her a few basics. Chloe spent much of the evening trying out different key combinations and starting making some nice music. She came to me and said that she had the strategy and would like to take piano classes!
Barbara told her that sometimes piano players have a cup and get tips for their music. A little later, Chloe found a toy cup and put it up on the piano, hoping to cash in on her new skill.
Today both girls continued playing on the piano. I got out my old “Teaching Little fingers” book and let them at it. They both worked through a few different songs.
I think Rob will be going piano shopping on his next trip home.
