Yesterday morning, I worked for a while, looked at the photos from Tuesday that I had been too sick and tired to deal with, then packed. I got the girls up and we went to pay the car’s hotel bill.
By the time the car was all loaded and we hit the road, it was 11am! Thankfully, we hit no traffic on the way home and made it in 10 hours this time. Whew. Chloe kept bus with some homeschool work. Just as she started to get bored, she decided to call Absolutely Mindy at XMKids.
Well, she and Chloe chatted for what must have been ten minutes. (Coincidentally, we were in Gastonia when they chatted…we had once been in Gastonia with Mindy for an XMKids Traveling Roadshow!) They talked about Chloe’s trip to DC and about Chloe’s two loose teeth. Mindy then posed a question to the XMKids listeners “What should Chloe do with the tooth that she wants to keep instead of putting it under her pillow?” Listening to the listener responses kept us occupied for quite a long time! Thanks, Mindy, for keeping us entertained on our trip home!
